Echinacea & Chamomile Cleansing Balm is a gentle and nourishing facial cleanser and makeup remover. The cleansing balm melts away makeup, impurities, and dirt, leaving skin purified and incredibly soft. Deeply infused with soothing antioxidant rich herbs, the balm is excellent for all skin types.

Echinacea and Chamomile Cleansing Balm is handmade with a nutrient-rich blend of local and exotic botanicals that transforms your skin. Echinacea and burdock root purify and cleanse while chamomile and aloe calm and moisturize skin. The balanced blend of olive, castor, and jojoba oils washes and hydrates, imparting a radiant, glowing complexion. Essential oils of chamomile, rose, helichrysum, lemon balm, and myrrh soothe and tone skin while adding a fresh and relaxing floral aroma, perfect for ending the day.

This balm works like an oil cleanser, but with a luxuriously creamy, gel-like consistency. While traditional cleansers can strip skin of essential moisture and cause irritation and overproduction of sebum, leading to more breakouts, cleansing balm is carefully formulated to cleanse without clogging pores or removing moisture - leading to balanced, smooth, and healthy skin.

Each ingredient is carefully selected to benefit dry, sensitive, aging, acne-prone, oily, and combination skin.

• Locally grown echinacea roots and flowers from Poppy Sol Farm have healing properties that can prevent acne, treat inflammation, and reduce wrinkles. Highly astringent, echinacea minimizes the appearance of pores for firmer skin.

• Chamomile is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and relieves irritation. It calms and soothes the most sensitive skin and provides antioxidants. We use a blend of certified organic and locally grown chamomile flowers, as well as chamomile essential oil.

• Burdock root is a detoxifying herb with anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and healing properties. This purifying herb is grown locally by Maple Spring Gardens.

• Organic aloe vera is high in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that hydrate, soothe, and protect skin. Aloe vera is also antibacterial and stimulates collagen production, renewing your skin’s elasticity.

• Olive oil restores moisture, lightly cleanses, contains major antioxidants and doesn’t clog pores.

• Castor oil acts as a cleansing agent because it has astringent and antibacterial properties.It gently removes impurities and  ideal for oily skin.

• Jojoba oil’s chemical structure is almost identical to our naturally produced sebum; it balances skin, locks in moisture, and is high in vitamins.

• Apricot oil is ideal for all skin types as it provides lightweight moisture, contains vitamin E and K, and is rich in omega 6 fatty acids.

• Orange peel wax is a soothing emollient that protects the skin and is high in vitamin C and other antioxidants. It acts as a toning cleanser that improves acne-prone and oily skin.

• Pink clay cleanses and removes dead skin cells for a refreshed appearance.

• Elderberry, vitamin E, and rosemary are high in potent antioxidants. Elderberry extract has astringent properties that tone and cleanse skin, vitamin E is soothing and repairs damaged skin cells, and rosemary extract calms irritation. These three ingredients also act as natural preservatives to protect the balm from bacteria and humidity.
